How fees work

What you pay depends on how you pay. Each answer is here in plain words, and the front desk goes through yours before your first visit.

  • Insurance we work with

We bill many kinds of plans and tell you before you book whether we are in network with yours. The list is by type of plan. Your plan decides what it pays and what you owe.

    • Most PPO plans

    • Medicare Part B

    • Medicaid

    • Workers' compensation

    • Auto injury coverage

  • If you pay yourself

If you do not use a plan, you pay on the day of each visit. We tell you what a visit costs before you book, and we do not bill your plan.

  • Receipts for reimbursement

We give you an itemized receipt to send to your plan. A superbill may be reimbursed in part, and your plan decides.

  • An estimate in advance

If you pay without insurance, we give you a written estimate before your first visit, with what we expect your care to include. If your final bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you have the right to dispute it. You can ask for an estimate at any time.

  • Checking your benefits

Our front desk checks your benefits and calls you with what they find before your first visit. The form on this site asks for your name, phone and email only.

  • What the first visit includes

About an hour with a physical therapist. They listen, examine how you stand, walk and use your arms and hands, explain what they find and agree on a plan with you. They also explain the risks and the choices.

Questions about paying

Does my plan cover this, and do you take Medicare?

We bill many kinds of plans, including most PPO plans, Medicare Part B, Medicaid, workers' compensation and auto injury coverage. Your plan decides what it pays. We check your benefits and call you before your first visit.

What if I pay myself?

We give you a written estimate before your first visit, and you pay for each visit on the day. If your plan may reimburse you, we give you a detailed receipt to send in; your plan decides what it reimburses.

Do you treat work or auto injuries?

Yes. If you were hurt in a crash or at work, get emergency care first. Tell us who your adjuster is. Your state decides who may direct your care. We explain how your bills are handled before you start.
